Phil Coke made his return from the DL, but he wasn't sharp. He allowed 6 runs, 4 earned, on 10 hits in 5 innings pitched. He fell to 1-6 on the season.
Don Kelly hit his first home run of the season in the first inning, and ended up with 2 RBIs on the night. But after behind 1-0 out of the gate, Texas scored the next 7 runs.
Austin Jackson had an RBI double in the 9th. Detroit scored 2 in the 9th but there was no big explosion tonight, and they fell 7-3.
Alexi Ogando allowed 6 hits in 7.2 innings for Texas to improve his record to 7-0 on the season. He's the first pitcher to win his first 7 decisions of a season since Jared Weaver started 9-0 for the Angels in 2006.
