I just read that Miguel Cabrera has a lawyer who says he's going to prove Cabrera is 100% innocent of his DUI charge. In general if you're blasted while sitting in the driver's seat of a running car you're going to get charged. Then there's the small problem of Cabrera taking a big swig of scotch right in front of the officer. Maybe he mistook it for the bottle of mouthwash he also had in the car, and wanted minty fresh breath for the visiting police officer?
Dude, just admit you have a problem. Go through the treatment that Major League Baseball has enrolled you in. Clean up your life and move forward. Forget about the sleazy lawyers and lame excuses. For whatever reason Cabrera made a mistake and relapsed in his battle against his drinking problem.
