Georgia Tech outsucked Virginia tech to the tune of 43 to 59. Yeah, Virginia Tech won it and Georgia Tech melted the scoreboard to the tune of 43 points. The win improves Virginia Tech to 20-10 and keeps them firmly settled on the NCAA Bubble.
Georgia Tech turns off the lights and locks up the gym until Midnight Madness, finishing at 13-18 on the season. They did still manage to equal NC State for conference wins. Looking at things now it's shocking that Georgia Tech beat UNC by 20 back in January.
But where NC State had the transmission blow on their season in January, and they're now headed for the junkyard, UNC got its engine tuned up and is now humming at interstate speed. Good coaches and good team systems do that.
