VCU ran out to a big lead against Kansas. They maintained that lead at 14 at the half, then turned back Kansas' rally attempts in the second half. VCU stunned the last #1 seed, 71-61.
Maybe the biggest Cinderella of all time moves into the Final 4. They'll be taking on Butler in one Super Cinderella National Semi-Final. VCU, maybe the biggest Cinderella of all time, versus Butler, probably the greatest 2 year Cinderella ever and the only team to ever make back to back Final Fours and not be a 1 or 2 seed either year.
So either Butler or VCU is going to the Championship game, which will be the second straight title game featuring a mid-major crashing the show. On the other side will be a traditional power. UConn awaits the winner of UNC-Kentucky.
