I'm watching the 4th period of the Heat-Bulls Eastern Conference Finals Game 2. Miami has Dwayne Wade and LeBron James, two of the most explosive and dynamic players in the game. Chris Bosh is a very solid impact player as well. Chicago has Derek Rose, the MVP and dynamic in the extreme.
But as the 4th progresses, none of those guys is working to make anything happen, to move without the ball, to try to get to the basket, or anything. The game has degenerated into a half-court game mired in quicksand.
Blah, just pass it around the perimeter until there are 5 seconds left on the shot clock, then try to make up something either under duress or after the defense has collapsed because the shooter has no other option but to put it up to beat the shot clock.
Boring. Predictable. Blah.
